Unfortunately, due to the climate change, these places are starting to deplete its beauty and time will soon come when we can only see them in photos.

While we still have the chance and these places still exist, it will certainly be worth the time and effort to experience these breath taking places.

It may even motivate us to be more environmental conscious if this is what will preserve these places or at least, make them last longer for our next generations to have a chance to see them too.

Who does not love the sun, sand, water and the place where these three are combined? In Maldives, visitors can get a hold of these in their purest form.

Maldives is popular among beach lovers and everyone who has been there can attest to the serenity that this place can bring. But due to climate change, natural scientists are expecting that Maldives will become uninhabitable by 2030 to 2050.

Venice is one of the most unique and spectacular places to experience in Italy and the world attracting millions of tourists every year. But what’s interesting is Venice is sinking but global warming is speeding up the process which makes floods worse through the time.

3. The Dead Sea, Israel

The Dead Sea in Israel is the lowest spot on earth, measuring 1,312 feet below sea level. It has 10 times more saline than the seawater which makes a person float easily and it is also believed to have therapeutic minerals. The Dead Sea is in great threat as evidenced by the fact is has sunk by 80 feet for the last four decades.

4. The Great Barrier Reef, Australia

Australia is a naturally beautiful country and the Great Barrier Reef is one of the undoubted highlights. This location is so special you can even pinpoint it from the outer space. However, factors such as increasing temperature, water pollution, cyclones and ocean acidification have damaged the reef tremendously which also cause its complete disappearance in due time.

While we often worry about islands and other natural spots for their probable diminishing due to climate change, the Saharan region of Africa, due to global warming if facing extreme problems due to it expanding and potentially consuming more of North Africa.

7. Madagascar

Madagascar’s flora and fauna, more than 80% of which, are exotic and very unique to the country. This is the result of millions of years of remoteness in the Indian Ocean off of Africa. However, if the global warming continues with its current fast pace, the forests and islands nature, will be gone in decades from now. If that happens, there are dire consequences for Madagascar and its inhabitants.

8. Glacier National Park, Montana, USA

This spectacular Glacier National Park in the USA is home to so many plants and animal species that thrive on cold water. The remaining glaciers here, which used to reach hundreds in the earlier era, are amazing to view. But due to global warming, the glaciers will soon be gone and the ecosystem of the park will significantly be affected.
